I’m Sivert Almvik (b. 1981), a street and documentary photographer living in Oslo, Norway.
Why street photography?
Documenting daily life and capturing it as it unfolds before me gives me great joy, as it is as fascinating as it is challenging. So many things has to come together in a blink of an eye. Composition, light, human moments, you name it!
Why documentary photography?
I’m curious, and I like to use my camera to get access to things, places and situations I normally would not get. It is about me learning about new things, and sharing what fascinates me with others.
