A friend told me about a skate crew paddling inflatable boats down the Akerselva. I showed up with a camera and no plan. The photos disappeared into my library. Here is what I found when I went looking.

Two weeks against pretty: the photographs I want to show
I set out to make photographs I didn’t want to show anyone. I ended up with photographs I am picking out to print. The first few days followed the manifesto. The rest broke it. That gave me something I didn’t expect.

A grand celebration for the men’s national football team qualifying for the World Cup
I went to Rådhusplassen on 17 November 2025 to photograph 50 000 people celebrating the first Norwegian men’s national football team World Cup qualification since 1998. Not because I care about football, but because I had new equipment to test and a crowd that size is hard to ignore.
